This was our first time there, and, at first, we thought they were a little overpriced. We ordered takeout burgers and fries for us and a plain burger for our fur baby and, yes, we were charged full price for the dog's burger-but we didn't complain. When we opened the containers,we were shocked...the burgers were hand shaped, not pre-formed, thick, flavorful, and huge!! Will definitely go back!!
On our way to Philly, we found this local gem near the Breezewood exit. So glad that we did because we were starving from driving and were able to eat before they closed. We also had a very nice and helpful waitress. My husband absolutely loved his country fried steak. I had to try some because the gravy looked like ooey gooey goodness and I was right. It even had giant chunks of sausage in it which made it even better. Bet it would be fantastic over biscuits. Their homemade mashed potatoes were phenomenal. I got the burger and homemade fries. The burger was ok. Loved the fries. When we go out that way again, we’ll certainly be stopping again.
Came in on Saturday morning and the food was the best I’ve had in a long time. The guy that was on the grill in the back, keep on doing what you do because the food was phenomenal. Great service and friendly people. Definitely recommend this place!
